Diane Hoskins, FAIA, NCARB, is one of two Gensler Co-CEOs. She has broad responsibility in running the firm’s day-to-day operations, which span over 5,000+ employees networked across 44 offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She is Vice Chair of Gensler’s Board of Directors. Diane has initiated state-of-the-art management strategies in service of the firm’s 3,500 clients in more than 100 countries. She focuses on innovative design strategies that create a positive impact on client performance.
Diane founded the Gensler Research Institute to quantify the productivity, sustainability metrics, and economic impact delivered by Gensler’s projects. She also led the creation of the Workplace Performance Index (WPI)—the first tool that measures productivity in the knowledge workplace—which has now been taken by well over 200,000 office workers around the world. Diane leads the development of Gensler’s Workplace Survey, which is the firm’s signature intellectual property and has been published eight times, covering the U.S., U.K., Asian and Latin American markets.
Diane is a sought after media spokesperson and frequent speaker. Recognized by Business Insider as one of the globe’s top 100 Creators alongside Co-CEO Andy Cohen, Diane has shared her expertise and research with top media outlets, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Financial Times, Bloomberg TV, Fast Company, Monocle and many global architecture and design trade publications. Diane has spoken at many premier conferences, including the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, Climate Week NYC, the International Women’s Forum’s World Cornerstone Conference, the Bloomberg Business/CEO Summit and the Economist Human Potential Conference. She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future’s Council on Cities & Urbanization, as well as the CEO Initiative by Fortune and Time.
